Maybourne Hotel Group, which owns and manages some of the world’s most legendary hotels, including Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley, is set to exclusively auction an archive of stored pieces with NCM Auctions.

This collection goes back over one hundred years and features items by leading names in the design world. Three auctions will include antique furniture, one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces, lighting, fixtures, artwork and many other pieces that have graced the group’s three London hotels.

While many companies only select their high value items for sale, Maybourne Hotel Group has taken a refreshingly different approach for the hospitality sector and appointed NCM Auctions to sell its entire collection with a sustainable and circular approach, whilst making this collection available to the public for the very first time.

This direction benefits the local community, small businesses and charities by diverting these pieces from landfill and giving them a second life to be reused, repaired and recycled back into the circular economy, all whilst reducing the storage impact for Maybourne Hotel Group.

The collection will be sold across three exclusive online auctions, the first of which will be a live auction taking place on the 27th July 2023.

The Yorkshire-based auction and asset management company delivers an exclusive sale for a Motorsport Team based at Silverstone.

The online auction of surplus factory assets includes reception furniture, fixtures and fittings, office equipment, machinery, workbenches, tools and racking – with over 300 lots still to be added.

The two-part sale will include a private staff-only auction followed by an exclusive public auction due to end on 22 June.

Twitter has appointed the Yorkshire-based auction and asset management company NCM Auctions to dispose of surplus assets from their Ghana office.

NCM have previously worked with Twitter UK on a similar project at their London headquarters. Now the asset experts are working globally to help deliver the same benefits for the tech company’s office in Accra, Ghana.

The items, which include various office equipment, screens, peripherals, conferencing tools and Twitter merchandise, will be sold as part of an exclusive one-lot auction.

While they may be 5,000 miles away, NCM has an expansive network of buyers from around the globe. Their technology-first approach allows them to effortlessly service an international client like Twitter from their head office in the UK.

A number of limited-edition signed hummel shirts which travelled to near-space are being auctioned off to support young people in Merseyside access once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

Four signed shirts in total were launched from Welshpool into near space, reaching a peak altitude of just under 30km before landing back down on Earth three hours later in Ecclsehall.

The shirts, designed by Everton Football College student, Ethan were brought to life by Everton’s technical partner hummel as part of Everton Free School’s ten-year anniversary.

All four shirts, two signed by Everton men’s first team, and two signed by Everton Women’s first team are now up for grabs thanks to NCM Auctions whose platform will host the two auctions, allowing supporters to bid and track the money raised.

Funds raised will enable Everton Free School to provide its students with the opportunity to undertake a range of extra-curricular activities, including representing Everton Football College overseas at next year’s Dallas Cup in April, as Principal, Steve Baker explains:

“Enabling young people to reach their potential whilst providing them with pathways and Football College opportunities to thrive is at the heart of what we do at Everton Free School, so it’s rather fitting that our 10 year Anniversary celebrations will culminate in raising funds to provide our students with a fantastic opportunity to represent Everton overseas.
