How we help organisations with Asset Circular Economy

According to Wikipedia, a circular economy is “a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible”.

We love a bit of that!

Working with Colleges, Schools and Universities

We help our education clients raise money by selling their surplus equipment via commercial auctions, lowering their clearance fees in the process.

Every college, school and university has surplus assets be it from a merger, refurbishment, department closure, curriculum change or a build-up in storage over the years. We have been helping colleges and universities clear valuable space, lower clearance fees, hit their sustainability objectives and most importantly – generate unexpected revenue, quickly…for over a decade.

We work on projects with a wide range of size and values; whether it’s a few high value redundant assets from a department, an entire building or large-scale multi-site clearance. The usual range of income generated for education partners is £25,000 to £150,000 per auction.

Popular departments and assets sold by our education partners include:

  • Catering & Kitchen equipment
  • Engineering
  • Gym & Fitness
  • Motor vehicles
  • Woodwork
  • Construction
  • Welding
  • Broadcast & Media
  • Technical equipment
  • Entire clearances

How To Reduce Your Business Relocation Costs

3 min read

Do you want to reduce your business relocation and clearance costs? Do you have heavy equipment and machinery that you no longer need?

Too many businesses waste money by transporting heavy goods that they no longer require, this is where NCM Auctions can reduce your logistics costs and raise working capital in one simple, fast process. An online commercial auction, with equipment sold in situ.

Whether you’re relocating, closing a site, clearing some storage space or merging – we’ll maximise the financial returns for your assets, with the buyers collecting directly from your location.

We are the experts when it comes to large scale production, plant, machinery and manufacturing equipment sales, with millions of pounds raised via online auction and private sale over the last ten years.

We have managed multiple warehouse and factory clearance projects:

  • Engineering
  • Plant and Machinery
  • Food and beverage
  • Textiles
  • Apparel
  • Computers and electronics
  • Transportation
  • Furniture
  • Chemical
  • Utilities
  • Ceramics

We’re ready to help you:

  • Maximise the financial return for your assets
  • Sell your assets on tight timelines
  • Clear entire factories and warehouses quickly
  • Free up storage space whilst generating unbudgeted income
  • Manage the entire process for you

Our Business Relocation and Clearance Clients

It’s important for us to be able to display the engineering, manufacturing, production and storage facilities where we’ve worked on relocation and clearance auction projects. The auctions for the clients below raised revenue ranging from £25,000 to multi-million pound projects.

Avoiding Relocation and Clearance Costs

It almost seems too obvious to sell equipment and machinery rather than paying to have it taken away or moved, but we regularly speak with new clients that are in a stressful position and more often than not, don’t have much time left before they need to exit the building whilst also lacking the labour or resource to manage the sales.

This is where having a one-stop-shop clearance and auction in-house team comes in handy. We manage the valuations, lotting, cataloguing, marketing, payments and collections on behalf of our clients and we can do all of this at short notice.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank NCM Auctions for their support to Sheffield Forgemasters. I would happily recommend them to any future customers.

The team are extremely passionate about the service that they provide and are always happy to accommodate customer’s needs and they have demonstrated great flexibility when dealing with collection and transportation.

I had previously never considered using an online auction to dispose of surplus assets but found the service of NCM Auctions outstanding therefore I would not hesitate in using NCM Auctions again in the future.”

SHEFFIELD INTERNATIONAL FORGEMASTERS

Get in touch

We manage hundreds of auctions and clearance projects each year, making our clients profit and reducing their relocation and clearance fees in the process. We manage the entire process and pay our clients the lions share of the proceeds once the auction is complete.
