NCM Auctions are pleased to announce they’ve been appointed as the official auctioneers for Leicester City Council following a highly competitive pitch process against multiple auction houses.

Leicester City Council is the unitary authority responsible for local government in the city. Leicester City Council members determine many of the day-to-day decisions around the services and funding that affect people’s lives, including schools, roads, and council tax.

After discussing the Council’s aims and objectives in detail, NCM was awarded the project based on their professionalism and public sector experience, end-to-end managed service and the team’s effectiveness, sustainable and ethical approach.

Following the closure of the Council Housing Services Workshop, the exclusive auction includes a wide range of engineering and woodworking machinery, workshop equipment, stock, parts and fixtures and fittings.

The new appointment further strengthens NCM’s position as a leading auction house and long-term partner for many public sector organisations looking for a more ethical, sustainable and proven method for delivering the maximum revenue return for surplus equipment and materials.
