Delaware North | Catering Equipment Auction

3 min read

Commercial Catering Equipment Auction

We are delighted to announce that we’ve been appointed by Delaware North to provide sustainably focused asset disposal services for their UK function from March 2022.

Delaware North is a global food service and hospitality company headquartered in Buffalo, New York. The company also operates in the lodging, sporting, airport, gambling, and entertainment industries. The company employs over 55,000 people worldwide and has over $3.2 billion in annual revenues.

What will we do?

We’ll be uplifting and selling surplus catering equipment for Delaware North. This reduces their clearance costs and ensures their equipment gets reused via resale to a range of SMEs across the UK. This will generate funds, save money and achieve sustainability objectives in one simple process, managed professionally by NCM Auctions.

Due to the size and scale of the operation that Delaware North delivers across the UK, they regularly have second-hand commercial catering equipment, assets and furniture that needs to be cleared or disposed of due to refurbishments, new contracts, or equipment life-cycle upgrades.

Key Client Requirements

Our operational Client had some key requirements that needed to be achieved:

  • Reuse the equipment in a sustainable manner (Circular Economy)
  • Organise collections from an NCM Auctions storage facility, as buyer collections couldn’t take place in-situ due to security/access requirements

The first uplift of equipment took place in March, with a second uplift taking place in April. Our Client was very happy with first uplift, so has already organised for a second batch of equipment to be collected.

The online auction catalogue is live now and bidding will end from 1pm on Tuesday 3rd May 2022. You can view the catalogue, bid and register now.

Who are NCM Auctions?

NCM Auctions has been reselling equipment and assets in a sustainable manner for a range of recognised brands via auction for over a decade including Twitter, DHL, Waitrose, Volvo, CBRE, Debenhams and hundreds of colleges and council organisations.
