Any ol' ornaments?

Go and have a rummage around your house folks! An old Chinese vase which has been used as a doorstop for the last 36 years, has just sold at auction for £650,000! Surviving being battered around - avoiding footballs and family life and nearly ending up at a car boot sale the owners just wanted rid of it. On inspection, valuers revealed it came form the Emperor Quianlong era and estimated it to be valued at £300,000. Just goes to show, no matter how many Antiques programmes are on TV people still want to get rid of things without knowing or realising their full value. Quick! Go and see what you can find :)
